1. Place the CPU on the CPU socket, paying attention to aligning the triangle mark on the CPU with the triangle mark on the socket, so that the CPU will not be placed upside down.
2. Gently shake the CPU to make full contact with the socket.
3. Regarding the installation of metal reed heat sinks, first apply some silicone to the surface of the CPU (some new heat sinks come with silicone), and be careful not to apply too much silicone to just cover the surface of the CPU after pressing on the heat sink.
4. Next, place the heat sink flat on top of the CPU, hook the dedicated tooth hooks on the CPU base with the springs at both ends of the heat sink (note the order of the two ends), and then press the spring switch to tighten the heat sink.
5. Finally, plug the power cord of the heat sink into the motherboard, and plug the heat sink fan next to the CPU into the power socket (CPU FAN) to complete the installation of the heat sink.
6. Installing a four pin plug heat sink requires a special base. Firstly, fasten the lower and upper parts of the base onto the upper and lower sides of the CPU socket on the motherboard, and secure them with screws.
7. Next, insert the special plugs on the four feet of the four pin plug heat sink onto the corresponding base, press and hold the upper cap of the plug, and when you hear a "click" sound, the plug will completely jam.

3. Insulation effect: Thermal conductive silicone grease can also play an insulation role in high temperature environments, protecting electronic components from damage such as short circuits.
4. Reduce noise: Due to the filling of gaps with thermal conductive silicone grease, friction between components is reduced, which can reduce noise.
